Our beginnings date back to 1948, nearly 70 years ago, with a cotton bleaching plant. In 1958 we added the carding of cotton wool.
At that time, at the end of the carding process, the cotton “mattress” was wound up in rolls that were then pressed and packed in bales. The packing was made of paper inside with jute outside, stitched by hand.
Since then a lot of things have changed. Thanks to an idea of the founder, Mr. Mario Masserini, rolls were replaced by a pleated “mattress” much more functional in the cutting of small size packets. Also the wrapping of bales changed to white raffia stitched with a sewing machine.
In 2000 we added the production of carded raw cotton, non absorbent, and we are one of the very few companies in Italy able to produce it.
In 2003 we started the production of cotton wool sliver for cosmetic use.
In 2010, caring for the environment, we decided to install a photovoltaic plant of more than 350 kwp on our buildings.
In 2015 we decided to add the production of cotton pleats and rolls in different weights, meant for a more diversified market. We can also supply cotton sliver for cotton buds in order to offer a complete range of cotton wool products.
